Nice spec and mods! Ask your service agent about what power mods they’ll cover. They’re pretty lax usually, my CSA said if they did the labour on some things I was considering (Mishimoto heat exchanger, Eventuri carbon intake pipes both for better reliability and heat management) the drive train will still be covered. I believe BMW leaves it up to the service managers if a mod would invalidate something. US laws are pretty good about it too, like changing the exhaust won’t invalidate a water cooler pump failure as an example since they’re completely unrelated. They have to show a mod directly affected the failure in order to invalidate a claim. That being said, I too am not going to flash tune or do anything crazy to the power train except maybe intake/exhaust mods with a pre-approval letter from my service manager. Carbon door panels, CS racing wing, CS under body skid plate and carbon rear seat delete and a cage if I get more serious with tracking.

@@gianni_schicchi Very nice - yea, I still have some plans.. M Performance Carbon Fenders are top on my list right now, just for a diff look make it a bit more unique even among the CS' - then I agree, you can do things like an intake.. EL midpipe and exhaust without raising too many red flags, just nothing with the tune for sure. I think its perfect just the way it is, speed wise. I didn't get the car for straight line speed, I'd have bought a g80 m3 comp if that's what I wanted. I got it for the rawness and nimbleness

At first I didnt like the auto rev match but its so useful on the days im lazy to rev match. The M2cs has that unique carbon roof (Checkered patterned)

Yea it’s definitely helpful in some cases. But it’s also nice that they give the option to turn it off. And that carbon roof is really unique! Definitely stands out

Nice mods. Did the same on my CS (Silver, Gold wheels, manual trans, steel brakes). Carbon winglets, kidney grills and side markers, same pedals (these are all M-Performance and really should have been stock like everything else that’s an M-Perf option factory add on over the comps), aftermarket carbon mud flaps and headlight eyebrows, painted side and rear reflector covers. Pretty much perfect now though still planning a small height drop once I decide which brand to go with, M-Perf or H&R. Also either clutch delay valve delete or an aftermarket clutch pedal cause that rev hang from 1 to 2 catches me off guard a lot and it bucks if you’re too quick. BMW intentionally slows down the 1 to 2 rev down for some reason from factory with a small but easily removable delay valve. (Search clutch delay valve for more info, same with F8x M3/4s.)

They had one of those m2s at the dealer I got my m4 from, is was over 110k used with carbon package and full body ppf wrap . But man that was a beautiful car

I’ve got MHD stage 1 tuned on my car right now. I’m actually looking to go full e85 custom tuned for my elevation. Next summer will be looking at upgraded turbo options 💪

I would agree. I mentioned this to Mike, the rear didn’t sell me immediately it’s not as aggressive as the f8x almost like an after thought but the rest of the car more than makes up for it I think and you can do some things like getting a more aggressive diffuser/exhaust and diffuser extensions to make it pop more but agree!
