Yeah man he makes it clear that it is more about what kind of player could make this tank work. The less skill that is required to get a excellent outcome CONSISTENTLY, the higher the rating. The thing is better but yeah not that much better than it was before. I want to say 360 is so much better but it isn't in the scope of things. It still misses too much. It still has the huge cupola. It still is sluggish. It still is pretty much paper to anything above tier 8 and especially heavies which really limits what you can do. I mean he shows you pretty much why in the video I just wanted to say I understand it. Also there is the community rating where you can vote it to be better if you so wish. Problem is that is based on a scale more like you are thinking of. Maybe against other credit earners, maybe against its own tier or below. Maybe some of your best games came against higher tiers. Unfortunately also the current thinking of gamers like this too is to completely discount any tank that isn't their best or favorite. Like this, why would you take it out when you could play the super pershing and face only 9s? Why would you play this when BZ's roam the battlefield. Why play this when there are progrettos or Astron Rex or just so many other tanks he has rated higher. It this actual shovel would actually block some shots that would just be great but it doesn't. It is there for cosmetics and so its only gimmick is a waste. It reminds way too much of the type 59 Patton, like you want to think it has armor but it just doesn't, because of the tumor. But also these people wouldn't play the m48 patton even after the tumor got removed. Just like the past event the waffentrager event, skill was in a tvp, he didnt chose the patton then either. lol

Lol! Alpha dmg went from 240 to 280. If only the same guys playing doing the same amount of shots it indicates 2800. Just because of that. Combined this with the other advantages of the higher alpha/dpm (1on1-s, last shots...), pen, mobility, and the people who cleared the dust from it to give a try, I'm not so surprised.

another textbook example of WG's spinelessness - they could've made such a unique vehicle here, they could've taken the concept of a perfect ramming machine & shaped it onto this tank making it just a wee bit slower E50 at tier 8 that can maul other mediums & lighter heavies head to head. instead of that WG sharted out a half assed pile of crap criminaly slow weaksauce turdle tank with no firepower & armor.. thank God they buffed it a tad so now it kinda feels like a m48 mini Patton at tier 8

Played a bunch of games in it after the buff. It certainly seems a lot better but at best I'd say it's average, more likely below average just because it's still slow for a med though it's armour stands up if you can keep the tumor moving. I think I'll actually play it now which I have not done in probably two years.

Hi Skill O.o,i recently got the M48Rpz aswell[cos of the historic value a captured M48 turned into a snowshovel unit],i totally agree the speed is way to slow its around 43-48 way to slow even with turbo and fuel+5-10%power and engineer perk,it is still way to slow,the shovel protects lowerplate but sometimes enemys just penetrate trough it,and more experienced players know where to aim,the armor is trollish most tier 9 and 10 just pen you and yes with 2 good slaps youre basically useless,the spotting is alright but you cant scout cos of speed,and the plow does zero ram dmg verry avarrage tank feels underwhelming,i got to smash a tiger 1 in its side, as i charged of a hill giving me extra speed and Tiger 1 had around half hp so i managed to ram kill it,and maybe 2 other occasions in 100 games where i got to use the terrain for extra speed to get a ram kill in,but other then that its way to slow,the penetration is horrible esp against tier 9-10 always need penrounds,you struggle to assist the team and to get 1 to 4 kills,its not suited for ramming cos speed ,i would not recommend this tank honestly,the 59 patton is T8 med with more or less same turret/ cannon,on a T34 chassis,it feels and performs better then this M48Rpz,M48 is suppose to be a tier 10 tank well this M48 feels like a tier 7 tank,or a cosmo tank pls fix it :P

The cupola mechanics in this game are tilted. For such a small portion on the outer shell of the vehicle it can represent a large portion of total hit points when hit. Never suspended disbelief for me.

What makes u disbelieve? Shooting an AP shell into the cupola creates fragmention and thus damage within the tank just like a hit elsewhere

One of the best protected modern tanks is British Challenger II tank. First recorded loss of it happened from a friendly fire that penetrated commander cupola.

All i want is this tank with biger gun and with out the shovel. I like the m48 patton. This is ok tank now but the alpha is bit low. It has the same play style as m54 renegade witch is a superior tank in every possible way.
