I have a lot of difficulty keeping my emotions out of my arguments with my boyfriend, I have BPD, PTSD, ADHD, anxiety, autism and Tourette’s so an argument can go sideways fast. Communication is so important and when I feel the moment getting out of control due to my brain I try to take a time out and then return to the conversation….. and if I still struggle then I lay down to keep my blood pressure under control and use the different position to distract my brain enough for my emotions to not be in control…… this is for anyone who struggles like I do…..
