Can someone give me a recap on the storyline? I kinda got lost at the barn part, and I just can't figure it out. English is not my native language, so that is probably why but are there two different vampires? Does he have some kinda personality disorder? I don't mean any harm by this comment, nor am I criticizing anyone or anything.

ah, no problem; What happened in the barn was that the vampire started being overtaken by his hunger since he hadn't really eaten before him and the listener went on the run, so he was drawn to the scent of the listener's wounds to drink their blood before getting control of himself again. Unfortunately, the other vampires start to catch up to our vampire and the listener so he tells them to run, except he accidentally gives into his hunger and starts chasing the listener as well. when the other vampire catch up to him and the listener though, he attacks because he want's the listener all for himself. The audio skips to the next morning where our vampire is trying to get the listener to wake up after attacking them, mentioning that he attacked the other vampires and stole some vials of blood off of them that they were presumably using to keep up their energy. After that, he and the listener decide to get a move on since he realized that if he stays under his coat and out of the sunlight he can walk during the day. The two walk and end up at the listener's old town, stopping by to eat some cinnamon swirls and stay in the listener's old home. During the night, our vampire wakes the listener up to warn them that Aldea (one of the vampires chasing them) has found them and is outside the house. He tells the listener to stay inside while he goes out to deal with her (Aldea), but asks to feed on the listener first. He goes out to talk with her but she threatens the listener and stabs him. He insults her before she can get into the house which makes her choke him. Luckily, he hypnotizes and traps her in a trance before stabbing her and leaving her for dead. He calls out for the listener to say it's safe and the two lay on the grass together and he thanks the listener for giving him a reason to fight back and saving him from the other vampire's castle.

In the barn he was fighting his more primal animaliatic side triggered by his hunger for blood. Apparently when he doesn't drink blood for a long time he becomes more aggressive and cruel.
