Ok so here's my theory on what's happened (I may or may not be correct, but in the small chance that I am in some way, here's a spoiler warning lol): We go to the Obsidian Cascade with our dear bestie. Vacation turns nightmare as the war starts while we're there. There's really nowhere safe for us to go, especially for dear Listener who isn't even a Divine Ascended. So, perhaps...our bestie put Listener into a deep sleep and hid him away somewhere in the Obsidian Cascade to keep him safe. Due to being asleep for so long, maybe Listener's memories sink into the deep recesses of his mind. So, Listener wakes up with no memories of the past, is maybe found by some decent folk, and becomes a servant in Samael's castle since he has nowhere else to go. AHHHH I LOVE THIS SERIES SM Such an amazing story so far

Imagine if Listener/boy does the ascension thingie(in the dark-prince timeline) and the magic he gets is a mixture of both the Samiel’s and Ilyian’s magic(assuming Ilyian’s magic has stars like in the photo) but not really so he’d be like the Divine Ascendant of the Abyss - or something and it’s a branch off from dark magic. LISTENER/BOY WOULD HAVE ACCESS TO ANOTHER DIMESION(like the third brother!) Like the void or something I don’t know.

I don’t know how this came to me but I have a feeling our friend has a part to play in our memory loss. If he can help people remember things, couldn’t he help people forget things? Maybe the listener asked to forget everything that happened in the war or maybe the listener knew something and our friend helped us forget?? Huh, I’m starting to think this might be more of a tie in than I originally thought. I’m probably wrong, buuut, we’re in the perspective of a divine who hasn’t had the ritual of ascension, is hinted that they’d make a good pair for samael, and is learning how to make flower crowns. Could this also be the POV we take in the main series? Somewhere down the line (maybe in the war) we got anemia and don’t know we’re divine, but this is our backstory. Anyway, there’s my little theory of the day. I’ve only listened to half the vid so far.
