ugh thank you so much for this 😭 i remember a few little girls at church (🤢) chatting with me about how my “haircut makes you look like a boy,” (they didn’t mean this in a rude way) but they followed up with “but if you were a boy, where’s your boy voice?” and since it was church and my dad is the transphobic pastor, i had to giggle along and agree. it’s rough out here lmao. but this makes me feel a lot better :) thank you

hey hey... I'm sorry that your friend is being a dick. Would true friends misgender you and disrespect you constantly while knowing that you're trans? No, no they wouldn't. They'd see you as the boy/man (or masc person) you are, not as someone you aren't. They wouldn't misgender you because they understand what being disrespected is like, and it's human decency and common courtesy to refer you with the pronouns you go by. That "friend" doesn't deserve the wonderful human that is you. They deserve to be dumped and to be ditched if they can't be arsed to care about how hurt you feel from their actions and words towards you. Sending some internet hugs if you need them
