Great build, I love modifying and improving kits. Part of the enjoyment is researching photos online and really getting a insight into the vehicle in use. its quite surprising how many mistakes are made with kits.

Hi, one thing you should change on your model (not to detract from the amazing detailing work) is the tracks (if you look closely the side pins do not interconnect the tracks). The tracks on this kit were intended for a motorized kit. Congratulations on a superb assembly.
@smc-22 жыл бұрын
It can't be helped because it's an old kit. For me personally, it's enough if I enjoy assembling, painting, and weathering work to some extent. It's a scale model that I enjoy as a hobby, so I can't spend a lot of money and buy a lot of external parts to create a perfect kit like professional modelers do. Could you please understand? Thank you very much for watching the video and for your comments.😆

Martin's process is way more accurate, I get the idea, but like this is sticking too much out from the surface, would've been perfect if he made a root for it like real welds, bot nonetheless, it's just my opinion, otherwise I love to watch these vids.

Canteens don't magically stick to tank turrets or hulls, you need to attach them logically. The M1936 musette bag has grommets on the main flap for the wire staple on the canteen.

missing LynxDo you know if Tamiya ever corrected the rear of the M5A1?I enjoyed putting Tamiya kits in the very late 70's-early 80s and then put the hoby away until the internet and Missing Lynx came along and I became interested in accuracy in the way kits were made. The first major inaccuracy I learned about what the rear of the M5A1, and learned that the AFV Club kits provided the modeler with an accurate representation of their versions of the Stuart family. Since then I know Tamiya has vastly improved kits since the early 90s like the Panther, Tigers and Shermans, as well as retooling and making some kits that are old more accurate. What was and is a real joy is the way even the poorer representation kits fit together.
