I would say that Metal Sonic is the first "anti-Sonic" since he showed up in Sonic CD a year before Sonic 3 was released. From what I remember from Sonic 3 & Knuckles (I don't know if it was different in the comics), Knuckles only fights against Sonic because he was being deceived by Eggman. It isn't until Eggman betrays Knuckles and steals the Master Emerald that Knuckles switches sides.

@@chadschmaltz9790 I was thinking that, but couldn't remember when mental sonic showed up first, or if he would count since he's in the game so briefly (from what I remember) and he's the only (as far as I know) non "living" anti sonic, but then again he is shown to have emotions out side of what a regular badnik would have so. Yeah he was manipulated into fighting sonic, I would still count him as an anti sonic because he was crated by the team to be a rival for sonic, and was a main antagonist in his game (sans Eggman).

Contributing to the mental stuff discussion after the Pooh quiz: OCD (for me anyway) is hyper anxiety about catastrophic things happening or being true. Some things have physical manifestations like washing your hands too much because you think that if you don't you will be spreading germs everywhere. Others are just thoughts that make you distressed and the compulsion is to keep trying to convince yourself they aren't true, or sometimes having to think certain things or go in certain loops to make things okay again. Also, common misconception is that when you have OCD, you enjoy giving in to your compulsions and doing things like excessively cleaning. In reality, you are always aware that what you're doing doesn't actually make sense, and you often feel ashamed and/or tortured by the fact that you feel you have to do these things. Enjoying being obsessive is something different.

Psych major here as well. Anxiety, depression, OCD, ADD and ADHD are considered comorbid with schizophrenia. Not usually all at once in one person but it’s not out of the realm of possibility. From what I can tell, Autism isnt considered a comorbidity but there is some evidence that shows autistic people may have a higher chance to develop it. If you consider that Christopher Robin has not only invented these characters based on his own mental illnesses but also interacts and speaks to them as though they were real, then him having schizophrenia makes sense. Although I do agree that Roo representing autism is a bit of a stretch. Naturally I am not a doctor, just a psych student, so I cannot verify anything, but it does make sense considering what I do know.
