Because idol music gets a bad rep for the girls not writing their own music and playing the instruments. Lots are not that good live either and actually sound like garbage without auto tune and even then most just lip-sync. One of the few that actually have proved they are good even live, PassCode and even they started with lip-syncing and still use autotune. But wow Imada Yuna, no words to describe how amazing she is. Metalheads won't call it metal though, pop won't call it pop when it wants to be metal and rock influenced by pop.
