13 billion years later, here we are.... Don't it make you feel so small? Fear not, we are all a part of it just as important as the galaxies themselves. How lucky we all are to be here now. Peace and love to all in the Universe :D

I am 100% convinced that M83 died, went to wherever you go, wrote songs with angels, and then returned to earth to share them with us lesser beings. Jesus fucking christ this is legendary. I want to kill a dragon right now.

It's amazing that we actually live in this galaxy. This song portrays the feelings I get when I stare at the night sky and just try and imagine the beauty and wonders beyond our solar system. And even if we did know of them, we would never fully comprehend it. That's also why this makes me sad

@Deadpeople3711 жыл бұрын
That's because it's Messier 31 that's pictured, not Messier 83. The Andromeda Galaxy is only 2.5 million light years away from Earth, where as M83 lies at a distance of roughly 15 million light years. Still, it's a wonderful picture. Perfect for the song.

They say I made the moon Everything was in the dark No memories at all Just a tiny freezing wind in my back As I was sitting there Singing a song they had never heard before Suddenly, a voice told me "Keep on singing, little boy And raise your arms in the big black sky Raise your arms the highest you can So the whole universe will glow" My first vision was a bush growing down the river And I couldn't stop crying
