Almost all songs from M83 make you feel infinite
@dirrdevil2 жыл бұрын
Oh wow, I love this song, but to me it conveys how finite life is. All without words. This song in particular feels like life itself. It starts, build slowly, layers of life come in, has some cycles within it, starts to feel triumphant, hits its peak when the vocals come in, like you're at the peak of your life, you have someone else in life, those vocals have such energy, then they go away, the song starts to feel sad, and withers away.

3am in the morning, I'm looking out the window. I'm looking at a beautiful, clear sky and I can not describe what I feel. Is it love? Sadness? Is it a desire deep inside of me?! I don't know, I tried so often to figured it out, but I just cannot describe how I feel. The view makes me want to cry and smile and the same time. Tears appear in eyes, I begin to cry. But why?! I don't feel sad, I don't feel happy either. It's like I miss something. Something I never experienced, but I always wanted. I feel empty, but keep enjoying the beatiful view whily tears roll down my face. That's what this song is for me. (Sorry for my english, I'm not a former english speaker. I just wanted to explain what I feel when I'm listening to this song)

”There is a fundamental reason why we look at the sky with wonder and longing-for the same reason that we stand, hour after hour, gazing at the distant swell of the open ocean. There is something like an ancient wisdom, encoded and tucked away in our DNA, that knows its point of origin as surely as a salmon knows its creek. Intellectually, we may not want to return there, but the genes know, and long for their origins-their home in the salty depths. But if the seas are our immediate source, the penultimate source is certainly the heavens… The spectacular truth is-and this is something that your DNA has known all along-the very atoms of your body-the iron, calcium, phosphorus, carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, and on and on-were initially forged in long-dead stars. This is why, when you stand outside under a moonless, country sky, you feel some ineffable tugging at your innards. We are star stuff. Keep looking up.“

Quite a few years ago, in first grade, I met a Moroccan boy named Salah. I was suffering a lot at the time because my parents had recently separated and I was diagnosed with mild mental problems. Now that I think about it, I understand that salah had been my lifeline. During the lessons or the tests we used to play not caring about the school, it just was me and him against everyone. However, at the end of elementary school he was rejected and I didn't. He changed school and I haven't seen him anymore since that. I am now 16, and surely Salah has completely forgotten about me, but I didn't forget about him. Now more than ever I would like to have my friend next to me. You are at your worst. You know the situation is hopeless. You feel pain. You don't know how to get up, and you don't even want to. You are tired of trying, of failing, of hurting, of being disappointed, of being let down. You want to lie on the floor and sink into your own desperation, because you see no perspective. But sadly, you don't have that in your blood, and so you get up. You can't stand, but you do, you can't walk, but you do, and you fight all the battles that can't be won and you win them. You are tired and hurt, and you don't know if you will ever get over it, but you are alive, and a very small part of your heart tells you that you love that. That is what this song sounds like to me.

How can the reggeton even exist today? how humans can create music like M83 that goes far beyond than just instruments to become feelings and at the same time reggeton it's been created? how can we produce reggeton and at the same time this MASTERPIECE of feelings for our 5 senses? life it's amazing, with it's pros and cons..life it's mistery, and magic.

When I listened to this music for the first time, I felt like it was an end of a world song, like it was singing a goodbye to a world and I checked the title.. It says "goodbye" to one and "hello" to another. Powerfull

Belle continuation à tous. this stuff legit made me tear up, it makes you seriously think about life and your purpose in the universe (if not the general purpose of the mankind and any living creature). also, when i listen to this, my mind flies back to the one that got away... so much life.. so many tears... so many memories.. holy shit

“I just wanted us to be old together, just two old farts laughing at each other as our bodies fell apart, together at the end by that lake in your painting. That was our heaven, see? There's lots of things to miss: books, naps, kisses, and fights! God, we had some great ones. Thank you for those. Thank you for every kindness. Thank you for our children. For the first time I saw them. Thank you for being someone I was always proud to be with. For your guts. For your sweetness. For how you always looked, for how I always wanted to touch you. You were my life.”

I once was in Peru, in the middle of the jungle, swimming under a waterfall with that beautiful girl. Then, we went out of the water and listened to this song. Now I'm back home and I keep listening to it, just to remember that beautiful moment, just to remember this beautiful girl, just because I fell in love, just like that, listening to M83...

Music...Music is an art form that not only a person hears but their soul feels , music is deep and full of emotion if you open your heart and mind too it. It doesn't even need lyrics to be moving or powerful , sometimes music is felt most when a person can put their own emotions and story to it❤😌.
