As a musician I can tell this song is a dream to be a writer of. This is what the real artistry is to me. I listen to it with awe because of the harmony, melody and the way it's made. I don't know if M83 sits for weeks and months thinking out all of those details or if it's something they come up with naturally in a day but it sounds all like a very well thought out and planned composition. It breaks the pop music curse without becoming unintelligible underground music staying perfectly balanced. There is so much more to say about this one but I can't find earthly words for that. Ingenious🤌

Earth to Sea... I′m new as a cloud hmm I light up as neon Where will you go, where will you go just say it You can let go I heard of a legend And that's where I go If my sister calls Tell her I′m diving into the deeper end To the age of wonder Where the wire stretches Cause where I go Cause where I go it's trembling Cause where you go Cause where you go it's haunting Goodbye strangers I heard of a legend Where the others go If my sister calls Tell her I love her Until the end of us To the living dreams I think I′m falling Into the deeper end Hidden fortress Happy to see you Now when I scream, no one can hear me The deeper end, I fucking love it It licks your soul, before you know it May all of me be forgotten

Same here, never seen them live either. I was introduced to M83 on a dance floor then it took off from there and I’ve been a fan since, 2011. Midnight City being their first track I heard. Their music just like another similar sound and group called; “Hammock” amongst several others just get me through at times… 🥺😔🥺If I lived in or near S. Paul Minnesota I’d join ya, they’re coming to Washington DC here on the East Coast later this month, but I’ve got two concerts already lined up. I plan on attending but perhaps one day I’ll will see them live, I love this album much better than their prior, also when you do Experience them I hope you truly enjoy yourself, even if it’s just yourself.💫

@@michaeld.williamsiii9026 Thank you! I sure appreciate the nice gesture; and yes it's too bad we don't live closer. I may have found someone from work that is willing to go. I just want to go with someone who appreciates the music. I've noticed, from a multitude of comments, that M83 music has helped a lot of people through some rough times. I believe my first song was "Wait" and I was immediately captivated. I would have to say that 'Hurry Up, We're Dreaming' has been my most favorite album, which got me through some hard times when I was depressed and lost my job in 2018. I too enjoy this new album. Another favorite is My Tears Are Becoming A Sea --- love the music and the video. I hope you get that opportunity to see them live. Thanks again!

@@speez81 You are so, very welcome!! I’m glad that you have found someone to accompany you along who, “appreciates” M83 just as you, & I. Along with so many others, I thank you sincerely also for sharing your past struggles also if not challenges. A loss of a job can be a devastation if not a great challenge, but for you I am glad that you were able to rise from that low point and time period. I’d say M83 and Hammock another group who’s music is similar but more melancholic and contemplative. Are my go to’s when I’m sad and or grieving, I loss my beloved adopted mom during 2021 not too long ago. I’m beyond shattered in my grief to personally share. Now parentless, without my dad as well it’s a whole other grief that can be lonesome and isolating even. Not having that safety net and sense of grounding when it comes to having parents. I’m still pretty young in an age group, where most have at least one parent, if not two. So restless grief filled nights with lots of tears and deep sadness for my beloved parents if not other deep reflections I put on M83 amongst other artist’s and songs. Hurry Up, We Are Dreaming is indeed a terrific album. I love, “Wait” what an anthem, another album of M83 that truly got me more hooked was, Saturdays=Youth it reminds of my pre/teen years and nostalgia. I really again hope you enjoy the concert and overall experience you deserve it. @Eternityag
