Ma’a Nonu is the Larger than Life Centre of attention this week on The KOKO Show

This week on The KOKO Show the lads go wall to wall footy with a couple of cheeky yarns sprinkled into the mix. We deliver a comprehensive ‘Rugby Roundup’ segment unpacking and unfurling Round 12 of the Super(b) Rugby, illuminating the teams that are in the hunt for glory and the others that can start preparing for a debaucherous Mad Monday.

We’re so blessed Nonu came to MLR. Rugby has been played here for many years yet Walter Camp changed the rules into American football. I watch a lot of Union and League. MLR is not as technical which I find very exciting to watch. It’s very attacking Rugby. It might not have the polish of other more established leagues yet it’s raw and fun to watch. And most importantly it’s ours.

They are talking about this show on reddit, and I made this comment on there and thought it was worth a mention on here -- its just about Ma'a saying what a kind man Jonah (big guy!) was. I don't 100 per cent know if this is true or not though, but anyway..... I know a guy that lives up on the hill, on the same street as Ma'a back in the day and ***apparently! so did a family (ie they lived on the same street as Ma'a too) that had a young son with sadly some heinous health issues and Ma'a just turned up on their doorstep one day with a boot-load of AB's gear. Signed jerseys and other collectable, valuable stuff for the boy to have or sell or do whatever with. Word is he made the poor wee fellas day 💛
