I use to work like this in one of the mnc in chennai pallavaram when i was younger , my GM was from the same group who use to exploit us like anything forcing us to work on Saturdays and Sundays, luckily i got job in UAE and now currently working in an American company which has a lot of employee based benefits.

L&T is paying Rs.51 crores to this man apart from perquisites. So he can afford to employ 20 servants to take care of his family and can sit in office for 90 hours, enjoying office AC and other comforts. Lower level staff with megre salary will have to take care of their family themselves. So if an employee is to spent 90 hours in work place, who will take care of his family children's education etc., Staring at one's wife is a very personal matter. L&T chairman is indecent to make such a comment.

Sir, even today also in some of the private sector Banks and Small finance Banks officers are working more than 12 hours almost daily. The Chief Executives are not worried about their own staff health. In my experience as a retired Banker if it exceeds more than 8 hours then their productivity surely will comedown. In T. C. S. Chennai there is a working hours are 16hours and more. Manager forced the emplyees to do their works also and get their hiked salary. Nobody can question the manager. Some engineers due to family situation they tried for suicide attempt. Some are put paper and leave the company and jobless. 😭The Central and state government should interefere and resolve this problems
