Ingredients :
200 gms (1 cup)Ponni puzhungal Arisi (Rice)
100 gms (1/2 cup) Toor Dal
100gms (1/4 cup) small onions
200gms (2 big) Tomatoes
25 gms carrot
25 gms green beans
2 garlic
3 green chilies
5 pieces drumstick
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
2 tbsp sambar Powder
1 tsp asafoetida Powder
2 tbsp rock salt
1 to 1&1/2 tbsp oil or ghee
1/2 lemon sized tamarind soak in
1/4 cup hot water
dry roast and powder
1 tbsp Fenugreek Seeds
1 tbsp cumin seeds
for tempering :
4 tbsp oil
4 tbsp ghee
1 tsp Mustard seeds
1 tsp urad dal
1 tsp Fenugreek Seeds
2 strings curryleaves
2 strings, coriander leaves
2 red chilies
1/2 tsp asafoetida Powder
1 tbsp sambar Powder
For Garnishing:
1 tbsp dry Roasted Powder
2 strings, coriander leaves
1 tbsp ghee
