What a load! The funds used to make the packets "didn't come from US". If we gave them money it came from us. They say fungible, I say co-mingling! When the funds are mixed together you can't separate it! Maybe they wouldn't have had enough other money to make the packets without funding they got from the US. There should be a moratorium on ALL funding of migrant and migrant connected NGOs until they decide OVERSIGHT and AUDITS are worth funding! Yeah, I'm a Democrat and I'm actually pro-immigration, but we Democrats do have to admit that when some of our party break or even 'skirt' the law and will of Congress while accepting money from Congress, it is just as criminal as when MAGA does it. People looking for asylum FROM their own country don't get to use US money to pass THROUGH Mexico without first seeking asylum IN Mexico(and also any other countries they transit through before they get to the US). They don't get to say, "I'm fleeing persecution and certain death from my country, but I prefer a country with beach-front property, North-facing windows, valet, concierge, and a jacuzzi, please: Mexico is just not up to my high standards." Fair is fair.
