Khasta Gulugula Recipe ( Odia ) | Gulugula Recipe | Sweet Doughnuts Recipe | Gulgule Recipe : Gulugula is an Odia traditional deep fried sweets. Here I have shown how to make the typical market style khasta gulugula in this video. This gulugula is specially made on any festivals, marriage etc in Odisha. It goes very well with ghuguni ( yellow peas curry ) or else can be enjoyed with potato curry or as it is in breakfast , snacks. So, follow the step-by-step procedure of making this khasta gulugula in this video made by mrunalinee.
Ingredients:
1. Whole wheat atta - 2 cups
2. Semolina ( sooji ) - 3/4 cup or 5 tbsp
3. Powdered Sugar ( or whole sugar ) - 3/4 cup or 5 tbsp ( or add as per taste )
4. Refined oil - 3 tbsp ** Do not add more than it **
5. Cooking soda - 1/4 tbsp ** Do not add more than it **
6. Fennel seeds ( Saunf ) - 1 tbsp
7. Salt to taste
8. Water - 1/2 cup ( or add as required )
9. Oil to fry
