7500 tons destroyer is not too big. USS zumwalt class 15000+ tons Arleigh Burke class 9000+ tons Have large displace capacity. But its good to see our ability to buildup a destroyer.

If size is the only thing then why modern World is going towards drones and water drones, guided small explosive submarines .... Most important is there's ship radar capabilities to intercept the threat with their anti ship missiles which makes a ship powerful in ocean 🌊 .
