First time watching Togami, pleasantly surprised. Very interesting player, good variety of touched, aggressive when he needs to but good also on the short game and the cuts. I believe this is not the last time we'll hear from him

From first and third games, you think Togami is on fire, he was, Ma long was in trouble, he was. However, after the third games, Ma settled himself, figured out Togami's aggressive attacking pattern, made adjustment and returned Togami to what he really was, a player much inferior to Ma Long.

The rally at 2:30 shook Togami. It reminded him that this is Ma Long, who has been on another level for years. After that he is a lot less inclined to initiate offence. It it wasn't for Ma Long's lack of rhythm himself, the match would have ended a lot sooner.

Ma Long is truly the GOAT. At 35, he's still playing like a teenager. His greatest ability is to dissect the opponent's game, finds the weaknesses thoroughly then attack with precise/powerful/smart contro to win. It took even the top notch FZD so many years to finally go past him, now we can understand why.

The Chinese are not hypocritical people, they don’t like the Japanese, they express it through their muted responses ( Be thankful they didn’t jeered and booed like the Brazilian fans). Of course, the duplicitous European and American will pretend to clap and show appreciation, yet behind they are feel with contempt and disgust towards the Chinese people!
