Hi Emily, I just want to say your streams are such a comfort to me right now. I've just sold my dream home after a divorce - it's really the only home I've had in a long time, and I've just moved into my own little townhouse. My family lives on the other side of the world and the move has been scary and overwhelming (especially as someone with diagnosed ADHD) to do all alone. Having your trial streams on while I was packing a month ago, and now while I'm unpacking, is helping it feel like I'm still home, just home somewhere else. Thank you.

Set things up that make sense to your brain, I love my light dimmers and I putting dishes closest to the dishwasher so they are easy to unload. Somewhere to fold clean clothes near the washer because sometimes they will sit there for a minute....etc. You've got this.

Thank you for this, EBD. I also was frustrated with the prosecutor. He was jumping all over the place. The first paramedic seemed to have adhd. He was the most interesting witness of the day. My cousin Vinny is an awesome movie! I was completely baffled about the leaf blower. You don’t want to blow away evidence. They already established that it was snowing at 6 am. About 4 to 6 inches. Why keep asking? If he had a thick coat, how did he get the injuries on the arm? 🤔 I would think the jacket would protect him? The occupants of the house behaviors was quite curious. Cops take care of their own. Maybe this state trooper took it too far.

This judge feels so biased to me. Her sighing loudly during the defense questioning, the way she speaks to the defense and a few of her rulings really makes it seems like she has already decided the prosecution should prevail. Also, the lack of grounds on objections is NUTS. Does she just guess what the grounds are?!

I've been watching hearings for this case for awhile and Judge Cannone is ALWAYS like this. It's not a matter of her just being tired the past couple days. This is her norm and she tends to be more snappy with the defense. And she always wants to get the hell outta there. I remember one hearing she told them the next hearing they would have all day. Well that next hearing came and she limited them to 10 minutes!! Defense had to do some serious adjusting real quick. She's awful....in my opinion.

Unfortunately, especially in smaller towns where there may be less crime, first officers behavior at crime scenes can be very different. My boyfriend called in a violent SA we came across that was in progress. The cops that came were male and female. Whenever a man tried to get near her she (the victim) became hysterical. She wouldn’t even get in the ambulance because the EMT’s were two rather large men. The male police officer became angry that she would get hysterical whenever he came near and rather than letting his female partner take the lead threatened to arrest her if she didn’t calm down. I think non-standard happens a lot especially in lower crime areas.
@LovingBeingNatural17 ай бұрын
I should add that the detectives never got the weapon he used because the cops on the scene left without recovering anything or setting up tape.
@LovetheLed7 ай бұрын
That is infuriating! Being in a small town is zero excuse for not knowing how to properly handle a crime scene and a female victim! I don’t care if you have 3 cops on the force! Sheriff’s office and state police are there to back them up with a radio call. Deputies or state troopers should take over if the cops are so incompetent. Those photos don’t show any blood. But he was supposedly found in a pool of blood.

I don’t know if the logs are important, per se, but this definitely seems like a lot of reasonable doubt. (And yes, I absolutely agree that this plays well with the defense’s opening statement.)
@Lukkaboc7 ай бұрын
Agreed. to me it seems common for everyone to have called in at different times (parking the car, turning onto the street, etc) and I'm not sure if the times are reported by the cop themselves (each may have a different clock) or the dispatcher. The log itself isn't strong evidence for me, however I see the strategy to keep introducing doubt as much as possible.

John DID HAVE A JACKET BUT IT WASNT ON HIM. bc…he went into the house and took it off and then was beaten and thrown outside. Thats what the defense is showing.
