Ma Yansong is actually an exceptional architect. His work is simultaneously cultural, respectful and progressive. There aren’t many architects who work like this.

I like how he describes it in a simple way despite the complexity of the building it is a very human thing to create and at the end of the day it has a simple idea behind it. A nice idea, attention to detail, and the rest is just engineering...

He should really get himself and his team to Taiwan; Plenty of opportunity for a Man of his Talents, Skill and Calibre to Ply-His-Trade after the Taiwan Earthquake this April 2024. Opportunity to sort out some of the Politics Too! His two most outstanding Works So far is Stunning! Oh; God I am so Jealous!
