Their are two kind of durga maa one is shiv durga who sits on tiger and another form of maa durga is vishnu durga who sits on a lion the maa durga who sits on a lion iwe should be very strict and neat to perform her pooja we call it madi there is a place near mangalore kateel durgaparameswari whr preist doesn't go home for 1 month he stays in a remple and even I saw for the saree worn to mother is always. Washed and then it is wored to mother

You can start with Naamavali, Stotra, Naam Mantra Japa and ofcourse Kavach of either of the diety in your daily Pooja. Make sure you're doing your Pooja daily without skipping any day.😊 32 Names of Ma Durga ( Durga dwatrishna namavali ), Devi Kavach/Durga Kavach, Argala Stotra, Batuka bhairav bhrahm Kavach, Naam Mantra of Ma Durga and Batuk bhairav baba are some suggestions to start with as these don't require any initiation of a Guru and can be done at home.

i have even started to worship Batuka Bhairav Baba and Maa Durga very recently....doing 32 names of Mata and Bhairav Baba naam mantra (simple) regularly. I hope I am able to continue.

Chant Dwatrinsha Namavali of Maa Durga 32 times daily and 108 names of Batuka Bhairava(ashtottara shatanamavali) 3 times daily. No matter how you feel or whatever happened that day; Always complete your daily chanting. Consistency is very important in any type of Devata upasana.

I know its mentioned in the Chandi Path but can we say that Maa Durga & Maa Kali are same overall? Because I am confused in the thing that Sir says that Maa Durga is a bit like Mahalakshmi but also has the intensity of Maa Kali.
