Here is the reason for their beef. Karan aujla and sidhu moosewala both started as lyricists. They used to write songs for elly mangat, deep jandu etc. They knew each other. Once sidhu while sitting with his friends was singing a few lines of song "so high" where he added karan's name in his lines in funny way. He said " jede geeta waali machine bane firde, paad paad sitne a moosewala ne" (Thoose who call themselves machine of songs, i will tear them apart) But later sidhu apologized karan about it. But karan aujla and his friends sandeep rehan called sidhu moosewala and said "we will kill you, we will shoot you down" Sidhu replied and said "come shoot" (Singer elly mangat has told everything in his interview) After that they both started singing. Karan did many songs, all of them were either average or below average nobody knew who karan aujla was. 99% of his today's so called fans didn't even know him even after so many songs. On other hand Sidhu moosewala become superstar from his first song. G wagon with gurlez akhtar became a huge hit and made sidhu very popular. After his second song "so high" he became a household name. During that time wherever you go you would hear only one song everywhere that was sidhu's so high. On other hand karan's songs were not becoming successful nobody knew him. Out of jealousy from sidhu he did a song called lafafe( polythene) targeting sidhu and started a beef with him to gain negative publicity Song was a semi-hit but Even after that song not many people knew who karan aujla was. But when sidhu replied karan's lafafe song in his song "warning shots" which was a huge hit. People started searching who karan aujla was. His followers increased due to negative publicity. Later he replied sidhu again in his song with gulab sidhu called "enough" it was again a semi-hit because sidhu's fans started commenting under that video targeting aujla but it benefited him. People heard that song to see what he says about sidhu. He again gained negative publicity, people started searching his name. Then sidhu replied karan again during his live show and said you have made a song but all the comments under the song are fans writing my name (they are my fans giving you views) which again benefited karan in gaining negative publicity it increased his followers again. Then karan did a song called "chitta kurta" where he again replied sidhu. By that time People were already having fun with these replies. They heard that song and it became superhit. That was the time when sidhu realized he has made a huge mistake by replying karan because due to negative publicity and sidhu taking karan's name on stage it has benefited karan (but it was too late for sidhu to realize it. because karan had already became famous due to negative publicity) Karan gained millions of followers from that beef. ( example- imagine if burnaboy replies you in his song, you would become famous overnight. That's exactly what happened with karan when sidhu replied him) Sidhu has said it on many occasions and even in his songs he had said that thode ajj de star mere diss di padaish( your today's star become famous because i dissed them) Later karan kept singing songs and they all were hits because he already had to many followers on Instagram (currently he has more than 5 millon followers) Sidhu's last reply in stage about karan was free vich bhalde ho fame saaleyo, jatt besti krn de vi paise lende aa( you seek for free publicity, but i want money even to insult someone and give them publicity) Out of thoses 5 million followers of karan 95% didn't even know who karan aujla was even after so many songs. They all know him because sidhu replied him in warning shots. This is a fact and even karan cannot deny it.
