A temple town like none other, Vrindavan boasts of few of the best temples in Uttar Pradesh, adorned with exquisite craftsmanship and beautifully carved deities. With a throng of temples to visit in Mathura and Vrindavan, one of the most revered temples is the Vaishno Devi temple in Vrindavan.
Vaishno Devi is an incarnation of Devi, the Hindu Mother Goddess. She is also known as Trikuta, Ambe, Mata Rani, and Vaishnavi. The phrases "Maa" and "Mata" are frequently associated with Vaishno Devi. The combined powers of Parvati, Lakshmi, and Saraswati created Vaishno Devi. It is one of the best temples to visit in Vrindavan.

The Maa Vaishno Devi Dham stands tall in one of the most revered holy cities of India, Vrindavan. History of Vaishno Devi Dham
As powerful as the Goddess herself, legend weaves a beautiful story too. As per legend, evil powers#Trivia: She is an Adi Parashakti avatar, and her primary consort is Lord Vishnu. She is Lord Kalki's future happiness (wife), a forthcoming Shree Vishnu avatar.
According to Hindu legend, Vaishno Devi's original home was Ardha Kunwari, located about halfway between Katra town and the cave. Bhairon Nath chased after Vaishno Devi to catch her. When Devi arrived at a shelter on the hill, she summoned Hanuman and instructed him, "I will perform penance in this cave for nine months; please do not allow Bhairon Nath to enter the cave till then." Hanuman followed his mother's instructions. As a result, Bhairavnath stayed outside this cave, which is now known as 'Ardha Kunwari.'
Originally, Vaishno Mandir is present in Katra, Jammu, where thousands of people travel each year to seek Maa Vaishno Devi's blessings. However, some individuals are unable to attend their religious services. Given this, the Jay Kay Trust, led by its Managing Trustee Sh. J C Chaudhry bought the property in 2003 to build the Maa Vaishno Devi Mandir at another of Lord Krishna's sacred places. threatened the Earth during the Treta Yuga (the second yuga of Hindu mythology). Bhumi, the Earth Goddess, sought assistance from the Trimurti to save herself. Their consorts-Saraswati, Lakshmi, and Parvati-joined forces to create Vaishno Devi because they were powerless. After many fights, the goddess overcame evil and stayed on Earth to defend it.
J C Chaudhry is a Maa Vaishno Devi devotee. He completed the massive and beautiful Maa Vaishno Devi Mandir in Vrindavan in May 2010.
Architecture of Vaishno Devi Dham
Vaishno Devi temple shows work with a great deal of care and handwork. And Sh. J C Chaudhry's vision, with the assistance of experienced architects from Design Well India (P) Ltd., where Mr Arun Verma served as chief architect, as well as young and brilliant engineers, made the temple.
This temple's characteristic feature is its massive statue of Maa Vaishno Devi. It is brilliantly decorated and dressed with a red saree clubbed with trinkets and weapons of the goddess. These signify her power and strength to fight evil, elegantly sitting on her regal carrier, Lion. Next to it is a massive statue of Lord Hanuman, seated with one folded leg and folded hands, waiting for Maa's blessings.
The Vaishno Devi Dham in Vrindavan has an attached dispensary and library for pilgrims. In addition, it includes two dharamshalas to accommodate visiting devotees. The central hall is for meditation, and the yoga hall is adjacent to it. The location of Vaishno Devi Dham is auspicious and associated with Lord Krishna's growing years.
The most astounding thing is that all of these massive statues are present on the temple's roof. The shrine is unmissable for any tourist to Vrindavan.
Because of its massive size, it is visible from afar. A total of 1,700-tonne mass is present at the foundation level, along with the Raft Foundation at a depth of 4.0 metres below ground level. This is to provide a platform and stability for the gigantic statues. Furthermore, the Maa Vaishno Devi statue, along with her Lion, ornaments and other things required around 400 tonnes of steel and concrete.
With the assistance of sophisticated software and dynamic analysis, these statues are also tested against earthquakes and other major devastation. It's worth noting that the Maa Vaishno Devi Murti (statue) from the ground is 141 feet. The Lion's height from the floor is approximately 35 feet. Lord Hanuman's statue stands 32 feet tall, and his Gadda is 26 feet long.
