'It is more blessed to give than to receive.' " Acts 20:35

Chris dated Maggie before they got married. Maggie said: "Carry my cosmetic box when we go out!." Chris replied: "I got short hand of the stick! " Meggie rolled up her lips and said: "I am weak, you need to do this!" Chris replied: " But I was short-chained to be your worker, unless..." . He suddenly kissed Maggie's rolled lips. Maggie rolled up her lips even more, and said :" I was very much short - chained cause I am a lady!" Chris replied: " You can be long chained ... by kissing me back!" . So Maggie kissed him back. It demonstrated that every cloud has a silver lining. To persue a lady, man need to get short hand of the stick. Because everything happen for a reason. When your girl-friend bully you, adversity and loss make a man wise, and therefore Maggie was finally Chris' wife!
Adversity and lose make man wise

In your opening statement, you said “even though in Chinese.....but...” This is a common mistake made by Chinese because we are used to “雖然....但是....”. One never should say “even though (although)....but...” in English. For example: “Even though the situation is bad, you still have to make the best of it.”
@yukilai37044 жыл бұрын

Nicky430512; yeah, Genius! Do you have to be so picky?
@dtdasap62213 жыл бұрын
@Simon Sen Tao, I understand that Maggie is nice and all, but I think we need to be picky in these kind of videos. For a starter, people want to learn the right thing, not to learn the wrong thing! This issue would be worst for the beginners in English as they take the teacher(s) words as Bible. As we all know that learning right from the start is usually easier than correcting your mistakes in the later stage. To be honest, it is not uncommon to find mistakes in Maggie's lessons sadly. Though I understand making she puts efforts in making videos, it is a lot of work to redo it again because of a handful of mistakes. I would appreciate it if she does, but I wouldn't demand it. However, she should have checked the videos or done her research more carefully and written done some corrections (if any) in the narration part. There is still room for her to teach better. After all, I think Nicky is just trying to be helpful instead of being picky.

@voyzorneeden44534 жыл бұрын
孝顺就是对父母好,he treats his parents well.

I would say, sometimes, lose is gain, it is up to how you view your lose. If you believe that you can learn from the lose, then lose can be a blessing to you too, although no one likes lose.
