@@SpiritDriven of course a DSLR has a better looking image because you can use a fast lens that blurs the background much. But tbh it doesn’t improve your content that much. It makes things even more complicated and you need to know if the more needed work is worth it. On the iPhone you look your focus and exposure and press record. It records 4K60fps with ease and has a stabilized lens. Even in low light it is not a bad camera at all. If you want to spice things up you could use an ND filter on your iPhone, use filmic pro and lock the shutter speed etc… But in the end we don’t watch your videos because you have a hollywood like looking image. I speak from experience because I do corporate videos with an iPhone as a side job besides my study. I own several DSLRs and DSLMs but it is so much easier with an iPhone for these specific films I make for this company. I want to do them with a real camera in the future but for now it is easier with my iPhone. If you choose to buy one of the newest mirrorless cameras with IBIS and really good auto focus, your life’s gonna be relatively easy. (Besides the massive file size) But then you need to pay a few thousand bucks for the body and good lenses. You get the same result even with cameras without IBIS and manual focus but then you need to work for you good image. In the end you need to know what you wanna do with a real camera. If you want to do photography as well, you definitely need a real one. But there are so many really really good older ones that you don’t need to pay much. If you have questions just ask them. If not it’s perfectly fine ;) Really looking forward seeing the finished car even tho I’m here for Miata content. :)

Honestly I’m not crazy familiar with San Diego Maaco locations I couldn’t recommend one but just check customer reviews I’m sure you can get some info on it that way And good luck! Nardo is sick! Gonna do the same color for our truck build 👍🏼

Yup $1500 for the whole car And the ads they run in store are for the whole car as well When they run the sales that’s usually the best time to get the job done They run the ads when they’re slow Take your car in when it’s slow means the price is cheaper and they even get the job done faster

Its all in the prep work and maaco is not it. Thats why maaco paint jobs dont last long. Anyone can be a painter and make a car look good but prep work is key. Also maaco does use cheap primer and clearcoat which dont last. If u get maaco paint job make sure to keep it in the garage most the time for it to last lol
