I really appreciate how Maangchi will speak to her viewers in english and describe the cultural values of dishes through a korean point of view instead of only speaking korean with subtitles in english like some other korean chefs I've watched. Can't wait to try making kimchi one day ^^

we live near the sea thus we get to have the freshest catch.Be it with fishes or these clams....I made one yesterday but I put a lil bit of cream in the broth for added texture...the result? priceless!!! Thanks Maangchi!!!

I made this with 5 lbs of littleneck quahog clams. I didn't have anchovies so I made a broth from Bonita flakes and substituted scallions with fresh garlic chives. Amazing dish that the entire family enjoyed. Simple and fresh tasting. Thanks for the recipe.

In the philippines we call this "tulya"..mostly,we use mussels or tahong.we use ginger because it enhances the flavor of the mussels.yum!goes great with fried fish!

Dear Maangchi, As a half Korean i really appreciate your videos and I'm always watching you for great advice as to how to cook traditional Korean food. I have one request however; You have so many videos! It's very impressive and delicious! When you finished cooking and you started to pull out your banchan I became very curious to your recipe for Gochu-jangajji. That has always been one of my favorite Korean banchan!!!! I think it would be really useful if you could use links to other videos in the description area. So for example, whenever you pull out Kimchi, or any other banchan, anyone interested would just have to scroll down and find that exact item recipe right away! It would make it little user friendly and help people who are curious to get to your other videos and recipes quickly and efficiently. Thank you!!!
