Little did I know what was in store for me until I experienced this gem, a representation of the beauty of music in its truest form. With your creations, I travelled through the vast Mexican Plateaus, the lush Celtic hills, the colorful markets of Spain, the beautiful Persian landscapes and indulge in Kannada folklore. After exploring the whole world, it was upon hearing this song that I felt a sense of warming homeliness, a deep heartfelt emotion. A symbol of the captivating beauty of Simplicity, this song connects me to the soil, the gifts this land has to offer and brings me back to the roots. I do not know what is more beautiful, the euphonious composition, the profound lyrics, the rich landscape or the cultural bond, the bond that ties not just humans from different geographies involved in the setting but anyone who listens to this precious creation. The superposition of the elements combined create an experience to cherish. Every element stays true to the spirit of the song. The guitar prelude is simply beautiful. I could listen to the soothing, gentle chords the whole day. The melodic intricacies, the tone and harmony it provides are perfect for the songs. The vocals are exceptional with the juxtaposition of the textures, one raw yet refined, the other sweet and scintillating. The improvisations leave me in awe each time I hear them Probably one of your best vocal performances. The indigenous instruments truly recite the stories of the land. The kadtal and cajon complement well contributing to the rhythm. Everything feels like a dream in this creation, with the strong emotions of happiness and utter positivity it evokes. The best of all is the spontaneity and rawness of the live performance, the connect between the musicians , which remote collaborations can not replicate, is evident. The video is a beauty in itself. The placid waters of the lake, the sky changing hues with the percussions, the trees, the grazing herd and the charming deer, are a spectacle. The beauty of this creation is beyond my words. The song seems to have cast a spell upon me. Ever since I heard it, it has been echoing in my mind and the melody pulls me towards it, so much so I feel like singing it the whole time. Much gratitude to Maati Baani for creating a most beautiful song I have heard, a song I could call my favourite. With admiration, appreciation and affection, Jahnvi I hope you appreciate this effort of mine. 😌
