I personally prefer the live version over the recording! For me personally, I feel that the soul of this song was the same as 20+ years ago when Maaya first sung it. And there's bound to be some difference between studio recording and live in almost all pop songs really - and differences in creative directions/choices (not to mention this song was recorded in like the 90s😂), but for me there was absolutely no doubt that the singer is the same XD Maaya also sounds SO much better live because recordings are for some reason tend to be higher-pitched even for male singers.
