Honestly, Dipper is not as selfish as you think. He sacrifices SO much for Mabel. Mabel goes talking with boys when she promises to help Dipper (referencing a future episode.) Dipper even sacrifices his job for her! (Future episode)

Mabel gave away something she didnt even know could do. Ik, she was upset but she also should've thought it through. In the pool EP he also looses his job, than you have so much other stuff. He sacrifices so much for her, and he is labelled as selfish??

Loved your reaction to these episodes and we're slowly approaching the season finale , i am excited. Also the 3 main characters are based on the show creators family, Dipper and Mabel are based on himself and his twin sister and Grunkle Stan is based on their Grandpa Stan ( they even look similar) .

28:36 huh? I'll admit, the carnival episode was on Dipper. As we saw before, it only took Mabel 2 seconds to get Waddles and he still insisted on making her help him first. But this episode, Mabel was definitely in the wrong. All Dip wanted was to hang out with Wendy. But he always has to sacrifice the one thing he wants to help Mabel get her new "boyfriend" she's gonna leave by the end of the day. It's messed up even if he never ends up with her.

Tbf she only left Mermando because he needed to go back to the ocean to reunite with his family. If Mabel chose to keep Mermando trapped in the pool here, she'd still be with him since they do seem to like each other, and Dipper'd still be a life guard with Wendy if she hadn't got fired.

Dipper is far from perfect, but your dislike for him is completely unreal, especially when you love Mabel, who has almost the exact same character flaws. Plus the patience you have with her selfish behavior and constant torment of her brother, but the second he does anything that even mildly upsets her he's an unlikable jerk. They are practically the same character, but Mabel is perfect and Dipper is awful. The clear bias is gross.

Every compliment towards Dipper ends with a backhanded comment from Krysta. Boy might be an insecure 12yo who makes mistakes, but Mabel makes plenty as well. It's just in a cuter quirky way, so people don't care. Meanwhile stan is 10 times less dependable than both of them, and gets literally no blame ever. Dipper hate be so unfair
