After so long.... The guild split, we grew so much and overcame so much together :c I wonder what they are up to now. Skyping till the sun rose in the morning, meeting them in real life. I guess good things can't last forever.

My adventure was a small and quiet one. Filled with a lot of time alone. However I did have a teacher to help me along the way. There were some nice people who aided me as well. I may have joined Mabinogi too late, but I won't regret playing the game. I had such a wonderful adventure playing it. Even if most of my time was spent alone in the world by myself.

A MMO where the player character always reborn constantly, a MMO without level limit, and actually require patience and work to become a strong character A MMO with nice music, a MMO where you can have fun times with the server.

I love how every remix captures the same essence of the game with a new twist on it representing the current theme. This game is freaking amazing, and it's music puts it up on all of the highest of pedestals that it can for me. I've got such an amazing experience with this game. I think that Mabinogi represents everything that it's players want. A unique game, an amazing story, each player is in the center of their own epic tale, and an entire world to explore. Truly phenomenal.

Such a nostalgic theme. I haven't been on Mabi in years, played for at least five or six before getting off of it (began in 2008, went until at least early 2014). Used to run with the Capulet guild the whole time and, you know, as much as the game and I had grown apart, this song makes me miss them dearly. I'm imagining an epilogue with my character running freely with them once again as I listen to this. I wonder what they're up to.

Been playing this game since G1. Way before AR, Thunder, and Fireball came out. So many good memories from this game. Looking back is just making me remember all the good days. Especially the amazing pvp wars everyone would have in Ciar with Giants vs Elves. I miss the good Ruairi Days. -Eddy101

i always had this little theory. if you think about the name "and old story from grandma" very simply, you think "wtf. good song, but why that weird name." well, mabi is inspired mainly of celtic (I think irish and scottish as well?) myths and stories. I've always thought maybe it would be like you're playing a story your grandmother tells you about past generations, and each time the song changes it represents a generation in which something new occured (G3 n such) just my thought :)

I remember first playing this game. So many fun times with my guild. I recall one time i was wandering through the new world alone, just relaxing, and i found a dungeon in a tree, randomly. I called a few guild people over and we decided to try it. Didn't go well at all, we got wrecked by stone golem like guys. I don't recall their names, its been to long, but oh boy it was fun. We had a few high enough skilled guys to take them down, and the rest of us just ran around doing out best while they did the actual work. Though we were completely destroyed at the boss, many a resurrection were done that day T_T. Dont know how well i remember all that happened, but figured i would type out that little story bit while it was on my mind. Listening to this makes me want to play a bit again. If anyone is still looking at this comment section that is a current player, how is the player base right now?

Aye it is, and i can confirm its the same way on other servers. I dont think i have ever met anyone who was a dick in this game. I mean, i know they exist, somewhere, but never seen one in all the years i have played Mabinogi. Edit: At the time of posting this i have come back mind xD

Well, the game itself is supposed to be a book. It's divided into Chapters, (Advent of the Goddess, Explorers of Iria, Alchemist, Hamlet, etc.) and within those are Generations, which I suppose could represent what you said. My theory is that the game takes places within the Mabinogion.

I agree, NANX doesn't really care enough for our Mabi. Just thinking about Mabipake and the black robes gives me shivers. I remember I had to quit several months because that was a major turn-off. Seeing a magnificent game like this not taken care of saddens me. Mabi is one of a kind, and that's also one of the main reasons people endure with Nexon's crappy customer service.I hope someday Nexon will stop taking it's loyal players for granted.

Yeah I dunno I think the director who came into place of it later on kind of had a hard time with it... Other servers have for sure have had a lot of the same problems, only dealing with them faster. But I think since the old director has come back I have seen some small improvements for sure. Lags something hard to deal with I hope its fixed, but things like customer service for one has improved immensely.

Mabi Pake was a issue because of how they constantly updated it. The program was designed to be easily updated by the masses, but mabi pake wasn't designed to be used like that. Devcat eventually stopped it. Blackrobing was a issue with data corruption, ALSO something that was way over the head of Nexon America. Devcat had and still has to fix it. Yes. Devcat does it Nexon NA can do nothing. Those situations are way over their heads. Problems Nexon NA can fix are only server lag and translation.

I know the gameplay and all of that is grand, but it's the way Nexon in North America treats our version of Mabinogi, there's lag, bugs, exploits, endless amounts of bots. Some of them are definitely a given, bots and maybe the occasional bug, but as many as Mabi has had, call me ignorant if I don't know what I'm talking about but I've never even heard of the other versions having the issues NAMabi did. Black robes, dupes, Mabipake (GMHide by Proxy to Pake) and everything else. It's sad. ;;
