If he had learned the truth about his brother,maybe...just MAYBE he wouldn't have taken that tragic turn. That may not have been the ONLY factor,but I think that had a strong influence....and Triona too. >_>

A heart wrenching thought. Had Ruairi known of the dark plot of that necromancer, along with Cichol's, he wouldn't descend to darkness. Our role was being the catalyst to his downfall. Even now, I blame myself for his death, to the point I rarely play mabi.

I'd feel bad for Ruairi if he weren't somehow an even more poorly-written Shadow the Hedgehog. I feel so sorry for all the sympathizers in the comments that didn't actually read Mabinogi's story.

Juliekate Esbeath he didn’t had a sister. He had a brother whom was killed by accident during the first battle of Mag Tuireadeth. His name was Rian.

Rian was the chosen heir of the throne in Emain Macha. The battle with Price, aka Redire, against the Fomors was so great, Redire’s sword was broken. The chipped blade landed in Rian’s foot. Sadly, the chip caused a lethal wound. Rian did not survive.

The Rian we saw was a resurrected body of him, but no will. The necromancer, Esras, controlled Rian till the end of G2. She deceived Ruairi, causing his path of vengeance.
