തിരുമേനി പറഞ്ഞത് ഒന്നുകൂടി ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു പറയണം, 17ആം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിൽ ഇവിടെ എത്തിയ യാക്കബാക്കരിൽ നിന്നും സ്വതന്ത്രമാറിപ്പോയതാണ് ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് സഭ. ശരിയാണോ??

തെളിമയുള്ള ഒരു മഹാപുരോഹിതൻ്റെ എല്ലാ സൂക്ഷ്മതയോടും കൂടെ തന്നെ ആണ് അദ്ദേഹം സംസാരിച്ചത്. അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞത് തന്നെയാണ് ഇന്ത്യയിലെ മറ്റെല്ലാ സഭകളുടെയുടെയും ക്രൈസ്തവ സഭാ ചരിത്രവും പഠിപ്പിച്ച് പോരുന്നത് , ഇന്ത്യൻ ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് വിഭാഗം ഒഴികെ. അത് ഒരു തുരുത്ത് ആണ് , അതിനകത്തേക്ക് തിരുത്തലുകൾ പകർന്നു നൽകാൻ ആരും ശ്രമിക്കുന്നില്ല, അതിൽ കാര്യവും ഇല്ല. പക്ഷെ യാക്കോബായ സഭ 17 ആം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിൽ ഇവിടെ ഉണ്ടായതാണെന്നും , ഇന്ത്യൻ ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് വിഭാഗം 19 ാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിൽ ഉണ്ടായതല്ല എന്നുള്ള ചരിത്രവും ഒക്കെ ഇന്ത്യൻ ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് വിഭാഗത്തിൻ്റെ തുരുത്തിന് അകത്ത് മാത്രമുള്ള ചരിത്രമാണ് , അത് അവിടെ ഉള്ളവരുടെ താൽപര്യപ്രകാരം ആയിക്കൊള്ളട്ടെ. പക്ഷെ മറ്റ് സഭാധ്യക്ക്ഷൻമാരും പൊതു സമൂഹവും ഒക്കെ അത് ഏറ്റ് പറയാൻ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കണം എന്ന് ആഗ്രഹിക്കരുത്, അവർ പറയുന്നതിനേക്കുറിച്ച് വേണ്ടത്ര പരിജ്ഞാനത്തോടെ തന്നെ യാണ് അവർ പറയുന്നത്. അത്കൊണ്ട് ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഈ വന്ദ്യ പിതാവും വ്യക്തമായ ശ്രദ്ധയോട് കൂടെ ചരിത്രസത്യങ്ങളുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ തന്നെ ആണ് ഈ പറഞ്ഞതും . ദൈവം അനുഗ്രഹിക്കട്ടെ !
