Ah yes speaking facts! It is even good to just have a barrel extension! I could only imagine shooting mine without the extension and ONLY the nylon loop it came with. Im not going to lie I would be terrified. Great video.

You have some great weapons I served thirty years in the United States Army almost twelve in the Ranger Regiment I retired in 2010. I had no idea you could get these guns on the market. In the early eighties I bought quite a few milsurp rifles cheap and in great condition . Two M1 rifles, K98 m1903 and more in that category. I also have a good selection of modern weapons and plenty of ammo. I reload for seven calibers five rifle and two pistol. I live in New York State so I don't have AR platforms.I switched to Ruger Mini 14and 30. No pistol braces or new stuff like that I don't think we will need full auto weapons . For the shit show that's bound to happen soon to much wasted ammo and a lot of people shooting themselves and each other.

I had one of those K grip adapters fail on a M10 45, just forward of the nut and take two fingers from a friend of mine. Beware! They have a design flaw.

There are different vertical grips for MACS. Some are just held on by a nut. I never liked those.

@@kensammons1845 Yes, I took a close look and the nut is attached to the grip. I don’t know if it is welded or what. There were two companies who made them. SWD/Cobray and FTF industries. I’ll have to be careful from now on. Thanks for the info!

I love hearing the silencer vs suppresser explanation, I have said the same thing a 1000 times! I’m looking to pick up a Mac type machine gun, I’m lean to a .45 for the subsonic velocities. Do you think there is any reason I might prefer a 9 /38?

I have three M10/45's and two M11/9's. I like the M10 in 45ACP and the M11/9 in 9MM. 45ACP is the perfect round for Silencing. Both 9MM and 45ACP are easy to reload too.

The M11/9 is the most versatile SMG. You can get more custom uppers with the M11/9. You can also get a upper in 223 Remington and turn it into a real assault rifle. You can also get a CF-W slow fire bolt for the M11/9. The M11/380 is a good choose because 380 ACP suppresses well. You can also get a 9 MM upper for the M11/380. To me the biggest problem with the M10/9 is it is hard to get magazines for it. Just my opinion.

@@mattdeadtube The Lage sear I put on my M11 fit very tight on my selector pin. I had to take ultra fine sandpaper and polish off the casting marks on my selector pin to get the sear to fit.

What about the suppressor that came with it? Is it legitimate or is it for show?

The suppressor is real not fake. It cost me $140 back in 1990 not including the $200 tax. I have one in 45ACP for my M10/45 too.

Some people are saying it came with fake suppressor and maybe it's a barrel extension like you have, it's around 10 inches and is round no fancy holes in ot

Now in 1989 I bought my Powder Springs M10/45 and Suppressor from Cobray Firearms at the same time. The gun and suppressor were sold separately and not as a package deal. Remember that the ATF charges a $200 tax on the Machine gun and Suppressor $400 together. Cobray sold a fake suppressor but most got that for the semi auto pistol. The barrel extension never gets hot. The silencer gets hot, that is why I have the nomex cover on it.
