A year ago I lost my best friend to cancer he ment the world to me, I loved him like in a romantic way. And then I fell in love with a girl who of course rejected me, but after a while she became my best friend. She understood me like no one else. And now she is stuck in a relationship with I guy who could care less, and I’ve helped her through this. She did the same after I attempted to join my best friend, and now she gave me the confidence I needed to confess my feelings to another girl and now I’m the happiest guy alive. My family couldn’t care less about me. But she did. Helped me quit smoking weed, encouraged me through the hardest times, saved my life. And she will be going to college after her senior year in high school (which is next year). And I feel like I’m gonna have nothing all over again, but despite all this I choose to keep going, I choose to do what makes me happy. And because I did that. I have a girlfriend who gave me my first kiss, I have the potential to go to some of the most prestigious schools in America, and I feel alive again. I faced all this at 15 years old, and I’m finally happy after wanting nothing but death for a year. Life isn’t about regretting the past, or being afraid of what the future might have planned for you life is about living in the now. Life is about being happy with what you have, so cherish the moment and remember you will always have people who love you.
