It looks so beautiful on you! I could suggest-- MAC F&B works even better for me when worked into the skin with my fingers, after working it into the skin for a few seconds you can feel the product change and almost cling to the skin. It is so stunning and I love it!

I love this foundation, too! I used to apply it with a brush until I watched several videos explaining that there is a special technology in it that is activated with a specific finger application technique. I'm not certain which content creators I watched, maybe Wayne Goss or Shelby Wilson perhaps. I'm sure there are probably others, too. I thought I loved it with a brush, but it was a game-changer and I was converted.

Suzette Nunez Same! I used to use a sponge, but I find my fingers are perfect. After I rub it I’m, I pat with a sponge, but I probably don’t even need to.

yep, almost all MUAs that use this regularly recommend the finger application technique and I can see why. when I got a sample of the f&b a while ago and applied it with a sponge, I didn't get what the hype was about so I didn't purchase it. but I saw it recommended by so many youtubers I watch and love, so I decided to try the finger application and I was hooked. it really does set in place with the warmth of the finger and it makes it easier to add more layers and build coverage

@@hammypie I was kinda surprised Shelly got N2 (as opposed to N1), although she did say it's her summer shade. I have this in N1, C1 and C2. I use N1 in the winter. I do find it's a little pink. The Cs are definitely more yellow and work well for me in the summer/fall. They're not super expensive so I have the 3 and just mix them to my liking. Sometimes in the winter I even find N1 a little too dark for me and so I got the face&body white mixer too.

Holy moly Shelly this foundation was made for you!! This is the best looking foundation I have seen on you thus far!! I looovvveeee this foundation just reminded me I need to pull it out again! I’ve been using dior backstage face and body!! I’m gonna have to pull this baby back out. Also one more thing this foundation is the main one I keep in my kit other than Dior face and body backstage. This foundation is soooooo universal. It can be sheered our to next to nothing or built up to full coverage. It’s also great for every skin type. I’ve never seen any foundations like them. So gorgeous on the skin!! I’m loving this on you! During winter I don’t think you’ll have to set it since you are very dry!

OMG I have been waiting for this one!! I LOVE MAC face and body. Its the one foundation that I would choose if someone told me I could only keep one. I apply it with my fingers, Ive tried all different tools but fingers are by far the best way. it does this interesting thing when you use your fingers, it stiffens up and feels a bit tacky but that's when the magic happens. 💕 hard to explain but you'll feel it and when you know, you know!

The best way I’ve found to apply is def with hands. I wore this on my wedding day and it lasted the entire day. Basically just squirt some in your palms and rub them together until you hear it thicken, then apply with both hands all over bc it’s going to start to set quickly.

We are applying to do the program again next summer, though if the US is ever allowed to travel there again (ugh don't get me started on this administration's handling of the pandemic) I will surely visit sooner. I've always wanted to take a trip in the winter just to see what it's like. At the rate we are going in the US, I wouldn't be surprised if no countries allow us in next year even! It won't be until after there's a vaccine!

Geek Out of Water that is such a depressing thought. Ireland and America has a great relationship so I’m hoping for a vaccine! Personally I adore the winter here, especially the Wild Atlantic Way and the Cork and Kerry mountains, you have the beach to yourself, the walking trails are quiet, I love scones and tea in a Country Manor in front of a roaring fire and also a cheeky Irish coffee in a pub also in front of a roaring fire, I didn’t realize how much I loved a roaring fire’ lol!

Hi Karla! This is a pretty fresh dye of Arctic Fox Purple Rain, on hair that was bleached one time a few months back to get it to light brown first.

Sorry to be repetitive but I agree fingers are best. I saw someone (who’s an expert on MAC products) recommend rubbing it between your fingers until it starts to firm up to get it to meld faster. Ironically I just used mine yesterday and was blown away how it doesn’t look like makeup but polished skin (if that’s possible on me). I of course spot conceal.

Hi Shelly! I watched another video on this foundation. They said that if you need a little more coverage on any given day, to add a small pump of the MAC Pro Longwear concealer to the foundation. It works! Just a bit more coverage. I'm one fourth Irish, one fourth German and half Italian. I'm a mutt! Have a safe and happy 4th of July!❤

The trick with this one is to rub it first in your hands (fingers) and it will start to thicken, then apply it to the face. It will last longer, have a bit more coverage, and use less product. I saw it on Lisa Eldridge's channel, where she even said that she ask her lab to analyze the ingredients that make it so unique!

@@goow We all do! What I remember is that she found out that the secret ingredient is the same as the longwearing MAC lipsticks (the ones that have 2 ends of color and lipgloss). That's what makes it stickier when you rub it in your fingers or on your face.

Perfect for dry skin and natural looking makeup, but can be worn with a more glam look too. ❤️ If you try with your fingers, it does this interesting texture change thing and blends in so beautifully. This year I’ve been noticing how dewy it actually is.

MAC Face and body is meant to be applied with your fingers. The coverage of this foundation improves as you message it into your skin. I love love this foundation. It’s the only foundation that doesn’t run down my face in the summer.
