Frisco seems very steadfast in his own weird way. It’s ironic that he became a cop and a spy to get some direction in his life for Felicia only to end up leVing. If he had any sense he would’ve given up the spy life and just stayed a cop.

Felicia should be honest with herself and with MAC because she still has feelings for Frisco. Yeah Mac raised her girls and has always been there but let's face it he did it because he wanted to and even knowing that Felicia still has feelings for Frisco why would Mac wait or expect Felicia to love him the way he wants her to... she never will.

And yet she chose him, literally nothing prevented her from choosing Frisco in fact for once in his life he was persuing her instead of playing absentee husband and father but this time she wasn't willing to throw the life she built away for 5 seconds of happiness with Frisco, All i need is a little more time is a sweet song when your 20 when you're in your late 40's you sound like a jerk off.

@@herdmentality1894 I like Mac in that he's stable and reliable. Really nice guy through and through. He was also a great dad to Robin, Maxie, and Georgie. But he was their dad because Robert, Anna, and Frisco were out keeping the world safe for them-literally. Some people in this world have higher callings the average person can't understand and that was always those three WSB agents. It drives me crazy when they are villified for this when military personnel are seen as heroic when deployed for years and away from their families in order to do their duties to their countries. Somebody has to do it. In my view, Anna, Robert, Sean, and Frisco are heroic patriots whose families should always have been proud of them.

@@herdmentality1894 Felicia did choose to say with Mac in 2013. But she did it after stringing him along for 20 years because she was never sure she wanted to be with him forever. She did it after having once been engaged to him in 1994 and as soon as they broke up, she immediately slept with Frisco and conceived Georgie. She did it after ultimately marrying Mac in 1998 and then shortly thereafter cheating on him with Luke Spencer because she was dissatisfied with Mac. She did it after leaving for years to help Frisco with his WSB missions after the girls had grown into young women. The point is Felicia has always loved Mac in her own way, but never enough to commit to him- until she entered middle age and did what we all do when that happens to us. She settled for peace and stability in her golden years. As Felicia told Maxie when Georgie died, Frisco is her one great love and soulmate but she has accepted they will always be star-crossed. They are the true supercouple though and I guarantee you that if it wasn't for the fact that JW was never going to return to GH permanently and that he and KW are divorced, Felicia's (and 99.9% of GH fans') choice would have been the same as it has always been in the last 35 years- and that is Frisco Jones.

@@TheFlun you can't compare they way they lived to actual military personnel, army brats know their parents are alive the entire time and recieve letters and care packages not misinformation that an explosive device blew off dads face only to open the door ten years later and be like psych the only thing i blew was your mind, hugs? no, same with frisco he doesn't write or interact with his kid in anyway and when he didn't get what he wanted from felicia peace out he left, it's an easy thing for writers to portray long distance relationships with characters but when they don't put in on screen those characters look like neglectful arseholes.

@@TheFlun i don't think it would be, it doesn't matter what outside factors effect the way a show is written it's written the way it's written and in the way it's written frisco looks like a dick who totally bailed on his family after multiple promises that he wouldn't do just that, he doesn't call there are no letters and when he couldn't get Felicia back he bailed on his kid again despite the fact that she was clearly making terrible choices and in need of his guidance, by comparison the way mac is written is a stable loving family man who let's face it has remained loyal despite Felicia completely treating him like garbarge, i don't know which of those two figures you find more romantic or desirable but for me it'd be Mac.

Two reasons he was portrayed this way on his last return- 1) The Head Writer, Ron Carlivati, was pissed that Jack refused his offer to come back to GH on CONTRACT in the spring of 2012 (btw, said writer only offered Kristina Wagner a RECURRING role at the time which she DID accept and is why she and John York/Mac are only seen 15 days a year to catch the audience up on what's happening at The Floating Rib's Bingo Night) 2) Ron knew that Frisco and Felicia are one of the few great supercouples in the show's history, and that Frisco is one of the most popular characters to ever come out of the show in its history, SO he decided to trash Frisco so the audience would say Felicia was right to choose to marry her bff Mac instead of the love of her life. It was dirty and nasty but that's who Ron is when he doesn't get his own way. Everyone knew it on set (I have first hand knowledge of this lol) AND in the process it pissed off not only the fans, but especially both Wagners, who called Ron's moves against Frisco and F&F wrong and disappointing. Oh well, it was 6 years ago, the show is dying, and Jack Wagner is doing well on his primetime show and in his tv movies and moved on from GH decades ago, so I'll get over it eventually :)

Just FYI though- it is true JW was offered a contract, he refused the offer, and Ron Carlivati was upset because he wanted to do a Frisco-centric WSB story. It is fact that he was going to mend the Jones family in the process, meaning Frisco, Felicia, and Maxie- I don't mean a romantic reconciliation for F&F btw because neither Wagner wanted that. Finally, it is fact that Ron decided to try to villainize Frisco when Jack declined the offer of a contract because he was angry and felt that would be the way to turn the audience against Frisco in favor of Mac as Felicia's endgame pairing when nothing else had worked to do so in 20 some years. I won't say who told me this, and you can choose not to believe, but now it's in print. Also, Jack was not the only one to be upset. KW did an interview just this past September in SOD in which she flat out says she has hated two things in her 35 years on GH. One: how Georgie's death and funeral villified her forever as a deadbeat mother. Two: how JW's 2013 return was handled badly because it gave short shrift to both Frisco as a character and Frisco and Felicia as a couple. In other words, Frisco and Frisco and Felicia as the supercouple they were were treated badly and she says she wants JW back again so they can fix the mess they made. (You can google the article if interested- dated Sept. 10, 2019) Finally, I agree wholeheartedly that KW is happy to be paired with John York. They are very good friends, and by all accounts he is a good man. Even if the Wagners had never divorced, JW left GH behind decades ago, so for KW to return she had to be paired with someone. Mac made the most sense since they are both recurring. They could just marry them off without doing a story to get them to the altar and then could call on them every few months to do a show or two with Maxie about her current problems. It works well that way. I don't begrudge them that at all. This way they each get the occasional paycheck.

Also, Ron wanted Jack on contract and if Jack had agreed, he was planning to make the relationship between F&F kind of like what you see with Robert and Anna- loving and supportive, knowing they will always be connected, but could not be together because they are too different. He was going to have Frisco and Maxie reconnect and become a real father and daughter without taking away from Maxie's relationship with Mac. That was the general plan anyway, even though everyone knows with Ron as writer, it could have turned into a colossal joke anyway lol. His real reason for wanting Jack back though was Frisco connection to the WSB. He could have him do the spy and intrigue thing especially because at that time, they were planning to do Robin's return by including the DVX, Faison, and the Cassadines. Jack said NO. He decided to come back to honor the show which started his career for the 50th only, and that's when the plan went out the window. Being the petty little bitch Ron is, he trashed Frisco to make Mac look like a saint in comparison so he could get his "high drama" at the Nurse's Ball. The tool though honestly believed that Jack would still come back after that for Maxie's baby's birth in the summer of 2013 and he could do a story on the fallout of his having left Maxie high and dry AND have Felicia pitted against him for having kept the secret that baby Georgie was really Spinelli's kid. They asked Jack to return in July 2013 to tape some shows to air during the August birth and he told them FU lol and then went on twitter to say he was done after Frisco was needlessly trashed during his 10 episode visit. There went their plans to use Jack like they do Robert, Bobbie, Monica, Mac, Felicia etc. by bringing him back and forth :) Ron did that 2014 joke of a revisit with the Aztec jewels featuring Maxie lol and he would have wanted Jack for that but it was all over by then. The damage had been done. Then Jack got one of the lead role on Hallmark's primetime hit When Calls The Heart and so that's it for Frisco. The good news is Kristina agrees that Frisco and Frisco and Felicia were treated like shit in 2013 too. She has worked with Jack on his primetime show since and they are in a very good place in their relationship right now. GH's loss and missed opportunities was the Wagners' gain :)
