I can't believe they brought back Silver Dusk! I remember back in the day when YT beauty community started, Silver Dusk was very sought after because it was what JLo's makeup artist used on her to give her that GLOW! I never got my hands on it because it was so expensive! But I might get it now haha

@@Lauren-uy9lf You can also try the Morphe M510 brush for applying highlighter, the shape is pretty similar, it's just a smaller version (I usually alternate between both brushes)!

@@NATASHAMICHELE I don't like smaller brushes for highlight i like bigger brushes thats why i wanted that brush but i ordered a mac brush that looks very similair to the morphe! i think its the #137 long haired brush but thank you! :))

I still have my MAC Silver Dusk powder that I purchased in 1997 when I was going to my prom. Highlighter wasn't a thing back then, I just used a big fluffy brush to lightly dust it on my face and body, it was so glamorous. I used it all the time for years and barely made a dent in it; it's almost full. The container is 30g and cost, I believe, $19 at the time. The new one is only 12g and $29. Even with inflation, that's a huge markup. MAC used to be so much more affordable.

I want a glow but not a lot of violet hue....would the violet work?

The violet comes off as more of a pink when on the skin, it is very flattering IMO :)

ByNatashaMichele thanks! I already ordered silver dusk bc I had the golden bronze from years ago and that thing is still full. I also ordered the gold fx and will check out violet in the store. I know looxi makes a color called ever after that is similar and it’s like a lavender and looks so pretty when you are pale.

Yup, thanks! I've purchased a couple foundation pumps in the past for my Estee Lauder foundation bottles. Twenty bucks is expensive too, but necessary for liquid foundations! But for these liquid highlighters I think I will just push through without having to spend more $ :) :)

I am very disappointment how invisible it is when fix with foundation . Only as a highlight you can see something. I expected more

On me the violet is more obvious and luminous even with mixed with foundation (light or medium coverage foundation), and the gold is more of a subtle glow. The violet wins for me on my skin tone.
