@ I am sure that he works on it now but his ceiling at his age is already set. I remember watching his videos in high school. He was a great scorer and great dunker but he rarely passed the ball and his handles were average for the level he aspired to. Contrast that to Jason Williams who is about the same height as him who spent his entire youth working on passing and dribbling. McClung will never be the #1,#2 or even #3 scoring option on any NBA team so what does he bring ? Defense liability, below avg NBA pg skills which is why I don't think he will ever stick to a NBA roster.

@@asianangler I have no idea honestly. He has played limited minutes in a few sporadic games and certainly wasn't horrible. Last I checked the most significant time he got was playing for the 76ers in 2022 in the last game of the regular season. He had something like 20 points but since games right before the playoffs are largely considered throw aways he didn't get any attention for it. I don't think he'll ever be an all-star but he's certainly not out of his depth. I'd take him over some other guys in the league and he certainly seems motivated.

Nah you just gotta train enough, eat and sleep properly, and prevent injury in the meanwhile by gameplay/running and you can get up to great levels throughout life. When I was 38 and a half I felt like soaring again and had the time so I did such and gained 5-6 inches and was catching alleyoops on concrete in pickup games. Then I got too busy in my day to day life and lost it again. Then at 39 and a half I got back training properly and got some back again to be able to one hand tomahawk off 1 step at age 40. Then I got too busy again later that year and lost it again. Then at 41 I got back training and playing again and was doing 180s and two hand tomahawks outdoor last summer. You gotta find the balance for your body and stay in form. The main problem that NBA players have late in their career is crashing into huge dudes so much that they don't give their body a chance to recover that you need more recovery time, stretching, etc. as you age. That's why you see guys in their 40s and 50s in great shape such as marathon and 5k/10k runners if their day to day lifestyle allows them enough time and proper fuel/rest. And you gotta be motivated too. Your body tries to hate so you have to be in a life position to combat that which can be a challenge depending what you do on a day to day basis. I'm 6'6 with no length fwiw.
