I'm 52 years old, my son recently told me about Mac Miller, and i was like, nah, that's not my jam. He urged me to give him a chance, said: dad, you have to listen, keep you mind open, it's really beautiful, HE was really beautiful. I don't know why I assumed I didn't like him, probably some video I saw somewhere. Came home the other day after work and he was playing it on the stereo. I sat down and didn't move for 25 minutes. I was stunned by how beautiful his music was. How simple and deep his lyrics were. The beautiful layers, the lush vocal harmonies, his plaintive and authentic delivery. It was all so achingly beautiful. Such texture and gentleness. And then I wept. Openly, freely, my heart just breaking. My son emerged from the kitchen and saw me crying, and without saying a word he sat next to me and gave me a hug. Now I understand. I always tell myself, as I've always told my son, never let anyone form your opinions about music, listen and then decide, because you just might be surprised. how beautiful to have that lesson circle back and be taught to me by my son. RIP Mac Miller, your music was a gift to the world and you will be sorely missed.

What does it matter how old his age is? I’m 30 years old and I listen to Ariana Grande and Mac Miller. I didn’t care for Mac’s stuff when I first listen to it. I regret myself on not giving a second try. He was talented. As a huge Ariana Grande fan myself and never doubt yourself on giving that artist a chance. I wasn’t a Taylor Swift fan at all but after I heard her album Reputation and now I currently have Lover. I can’t stop listening to her.. Embrace these artists it’s the reason they are alive and were alive as well..

To All New Listeners of Mac Miller, Welcome and I truly mean that with open arms, I truly hope you take the time to catch up on his old music and take the time to listen to his new album that just recently dropped. Mac was a very unique artist and his new album hit my soul. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I do. Let Mac Miller help you feel some vibes and help you through tough times. If you haven't heard his new album, please do and hear the emotion of a heartbroken artist, his music speaks to the soul and he even though he had his heart broken by Ariana, he was a positive spirit and his music will live on forever. Don't worry about anyone calling you fake fans, if you just now heard of him, its okay you slept on him, but he is at rest now. Take the time to listen to his new album and if you enjoy it, just continue to listen and appreciate him as an artist. Broken hearts are truly the worst thing to deal with. So any new listeners, I say welcome, and it's better late than never. I'm still in denial. I won't even type out those 3 letters, just welcome to Mac Miller and listen to his music with an open heart.

We have to learn to accept it, and I wont bash any new listeners or call anyone fake fans. If you like the music, then continue to listen because Mac was a breath of fresh air in this rap shit.

He's in his birthday suit hehe mac was great with putting out subliminally artful details to everything he did . In the beginning they called him a 'frat' rapper which I'm sure bugged tf outta him cuz he never was stale never complacent and always experimented - his music just kept getting better n better no doubt imho I think mac would have been a music mogul if he had enough time he would 100% would be at top of the game and brought others up with him finding artists running a label and more . The potential was bigger than ppl would think str8 up universal . God speed 🙏

Gotta love Mac's music. This is your 3rd favorite? While this is my least favorite on the album. Just brings different emotions to different people with his beautiful music.

I loved how engaging the last verse was. This track has style. Ways he framed the vibe with an insert “just play it cool” caught my eye and he kept it alive in my mind.

I love this song. He was a true artist. His pension for relatability really shows through in this album. Despite his own feelings, he made music for those of us that keep pushing through it without his story getting lost in translation. I love the jazzy melancholic sound
