You're correct. I'm glad I was a year younger than him and could listen to him while in school and grow up right along with him. I thank him and my children everyday for keeping my head above water. He didn't just create music he created a space for everyone to come together and express ourselves.
@bwalla32934 жыл бұрын
TheHildle TheHildle you're right. He's a historic figure. he cared about progress and music but you can hear he wanted to help others and himself feel better by sharing his journey and being so open. he had the choice but wanted to keep bleeding his truth and he really should still be alive and fentanyl is bull shit but I really hope he knew his journey and life and art was incredible and a "one of one" human event. even if it was short and even if he didn't fully know his greatness for whatever reasons he had inside like everyone. it was way longer and more interesting than most people do in 90 years in just 26 and he always stayed humble and honorable even through the craziest hardest insanely addicted shit. I wish he feels sober and happy now regardless cuz he wanted that clarity and peace so badly and he deserves every bit of it for how many people he's probably saved through his music: if he is somehow still aware of this mess he deserves to feel good in his next life.

Dude inspires me, not sure if that's good or bad guess it depends on what you do with it. I think he just reminds me so much of me and what I would have done at that age if I was doing what he was doing and not too many people remind me of myself, I'm goofy cool and I think what inspires me is seeing that somebody ran with that and turned it into something and I wishing I would have sooner but then knowing I still can. So, "beee yer self...? yeah". That's all youtube I'm out!

Honestly, I wonder what Eminem thinks about a lot of artists. He is one of my favorite artists that I feel has affected the world of music forever. Changed rap and what a rapper should be for times to come. And in that sense, I wonder. Even non-rapping artists. People like Jessie J, J Cole, Mackelmore, etc.
