@20:24 poor Nadieh Schoots hit debris of the crashed bike from Brian McCormack. Info was she had a broken collarbone and left foot with 4 broken bones. She was hospitalised.

not 100% sure but from the all riders 11/23 are from britain. street racing like this lives there more. and not in asia. In circuit racing motogp or superbike you have plenty. but dont think its doable/ realistic for them to go road racing as most off the races britain anyway.

@@curledone79 Looks like we are the only nation crazy enough to go for this stuff. My uncle was a consultant radiologist and went to the Isle of Man for the last couple of years of his career. He said that he never experienced anything approaching the ghastliness of the injuries he saw during the TT - and that included the amateurs on the public track days. A very strange sport - three fatalities in the Dunlop family alone. As I said - a different breed...

Props to these guys, they deserve respect for putting it all on the line. They’re all amateurs and privateers, and the winner gets like £4K. Even the motogp and WSB guys don’t take the risks these guys who ride the Isle of Man, Irish roads and macau take. It’s awesome seeing Hickman and co do it but one can’t help but think they deserve way more cash prizes than they get. And if they were on the bikes the MotoGP guys are on, would they be that far behind?

Is this an amateur event? I don't see any top riders but I do see a few non UK riders. All the riders are rather old and heavy. Is this a heavyweight veteran Grand Prix? Can anyone explain please?

What's a top rider? MotoGP or Superbike? They are the best professional riders racing on street circuits like Macau or road track like the Isle of Man TT. Somehow most of those riders are British or Irish, as they are the ones with more experience racing on the Isle of Man which is located in the Irish Sea

Also they race first thing in the morning because car races put so much dirt on the track that it becomes unsafe for riders. Some years ago the race was scheduled on Saturday afternoon, and the riders deemed it unsafe and refused to race. The race was then postponed to Sunday morning

He's been commentating on motorcycle racing for years, Dave Moore. Hicky said in practice he was doing it to stop his boot melting from the exhaust right under the footpeg.

WOW Macau must be the most pointless race event ever, no serious world championship race event takes place here and made up of pointless exhibitions. literally every race there is a red flag and looking at the videos of the race the main appeal is waiting for a youtube highlight reel pile up. Also the stewarding is horrific, a rider is on the floor in agony with broken bones and the marshal is waving green flag 20:35... i guess the ccp (macau has been part of dystopian ccp china since 1999 and official name is 'Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China..') bribe the FIM/FIA good to host this destruction derby joke of a race

Ini balap di monaco baik F1 maupun race motor sangat menguji nyali krn bshayanya sangat tinggi,tapi saya heran kenapa sicuit yg jelas ssngat berbahaya ini di rekomendadi oleh penyelenggara balap dunia ,sementara negara tertentu katakanlah Indonesia dikenai persyaratan sicuit dg tingkat keamanan yg sangat tinggi ,jika dibanding dg sircuit monako ini jelas sirkuit di indonesia sangat jauh lebih aman untuk balap bsik F1 maupun motor GP dll,mungkin faktor finansial yg menjadi pertimbangan utama.

This is a standalone event with Superbike specifications (similar to the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy). That's bikes closer to road bikes, whereas MotoGP are unique prototypes designed for racing only
