I was 8 years old when Portugal hand over Macau back to China (December 20th of 1999). In Portugal, we talked about Macau as a forgotten land and that it was better to give it back to China for its development. Very few people spoke Portuguese in Macau at that time. I am glad Portugal did the right choice, Macau is now one of the richest territories in the world. I will try to visit Macau SAR in the near future. Thanks for the video.

I am very happy that I was 6 years old. Although the living standard in rural China was not high at that time, after more than ten years of reform and opening up policy, life is much better than before. Rural residents also have TV sets, although not every household has one. , but I was lucky to have a black and white TV at home, and I remember watching the handover ceremony on TV.

The emptiness is actually refreshing af, I went in the offseason and many places were empty (casinos always full though) and it was just peaceful and nice.

I been there in 2007 .I was in Zeus hotel i have to find out my videos too .I am enjoying yours in HDR watching them on my tv but this Macau video was not expoertef correclty to HDR so i doesnt work with HDR . Grand Lisoa wasnt finished when i was there Like for you friend 👍 i need Chengdu walking video

@@TimeWalker there is place in Macau with rezidental buildings about 20 floors few of them and on 1st floor or i will call 0 floor was basic shopping food .Also small Mac Donald .Its anyway Chinese Vegas right now .Cheers Niaho 👍
