I have a feeling that he never really wanted to be in show business. He seems like just a regular kid who just wanted a normal life with a happy family. I guess like anyone would. He seemed like a lovely little boy.

Umm.... the bee scene. I figured it was just fake bee's or some kind of camera effects. I know it's 30 years ago, but it sounds like he wasn't properly protected by the adults in charge. But, I'm no expert in bees. Either way, he's a pretty brave person.

Right. I always thought they had the bees swarm and edited him in the shot. I don't think that could've been done today. The professionalism child starts had to have back then is on another level they weren't protected at all. That's why most sadly have ended up the way they are.

They were gonna get Macaulay Culkin to do "Clifford" starring Charles Grodin and Mary Steenburgen, but he turned down the role because the script sounded really weird. So they got Martin Short.

I don't understand why everyone writes that he was not happy as a child. I'm not defending my father. He made me do movies sometimes. But thanks to this film, we know and recognize Macaulay Culkin. You say that he was not happy as if he was in slavery or laying bricks on hot days.
