I have to say the actress playing Lady Macbeth is perfect casting to my mind. The way I have always imagined her is a beautiful tragic women with pained but beautiful expression. She fits the bill perfectly.

Just saw the movie. Shakespeare would have been proud. I think they nailed it, exactly what Bill had envisioned in 1600. The best adaptation of the best tragedy ever written, in my opinion. The death of the Macbeth child at the beginning just adds a new level to the story

I personally think George RR Martin based a lot of the Stannis character on Macbeth along relationship with his wife and of course the Witches or Witch in Stannis's case.

Never mind the actors - what about the fabulous location? No where better that Bamburgh. The car park is full of film crews several times a year, but I do remember having to stop on my way to work for wardrobe rails getting pushed across the road for this one.

Marion looks pissed off for some reason. If it weren't for that Angolian reporter, we wouldn't have seen her smile and the end of course by that person who is a reporter? Why couldn't Marion answer the questions in english when they were asked by reporters who spoke english? Man, those fans? ran like jackals to the front.

It's called national pride and principles,something a whole lot of the world has forgotten about,or as in case of USA,never had,and never will have because it does not apply to them.
