I honestly haven't looked at the new one. I have been REALLY impressed with this M1 though. It's so easy to handle and perfect for the simple tasks I use it for. Hope that helps!

Yes, good point! I will say though the vents aren't on the bottom which I do appreciate in comparison to other laptops. Plus they are in the hinge which is really cool too!
