Thanks Derek, I am slowly getting better at even getting liquid damaged (backlight sheets) panels out without breaking them which is always a good win. Any chance of some details on that tool to remove the adhesive please? A link would be great but at least the full name if not. Thanks again for all the great content

Opinion request . First time doing glass replacement, doing an a2291 (40mm) . Everything went smooth but pre-test of display prior to glue has black screen . Not a single blemish on the display or connectors after cleanup. Get a little haptic feedback from a momentary push of the oval push button . Also get a charging tone when plugged in. Tried reboot procedure as well . Nothing . Any idea what went wrong or what I'm missing ? Thanks

It’s possible that the display got damaged to the point where it blacked out, or the flex was togged on to hard and the solder joints popped.
