I would strongly recommend using Safari instead of Google Chrome. One search will show that Safari is much faster than Chrome and you don’t get data tracked.

Screen protectors generally decrease the contrast of the display, since it makes the screen more reflective. (You paid a lot of money for that awesome display and you are ruining it.) There is absolutely no need to apply a screen protector on a laptop because it is always shut & protected when it's not in use!

@@xoxoaysh There _is_ no need for it. Unless the laptop falls while open (which is already a rare occurrence), it’s very unlikely for the screen to get any external damage. Add to it that Apple’s Retina screens are pretty delicate so anything you put on it (screen protector, camera covers, etc.) will end up causing problems to them. You need a keyboard cover - which, unless it’s rigid/hard plastic (99% of keyboard cover is silicone or TPU at most), will do absolutely _nothing_ to your Mac - way more than you’ll ever need a screen protector.

Tip: a screen protector or keyboard protector could actually damage the macbook. When the device closes there is such a small space between the screen and the keyboard there is no safe room for accessories.

This was never true for me and I’ve had 3 MacBooks. All of them had screen protectors and every time I sold them everyone was shocked at how I was able to keep it in perfect condition. I’ve had the 16” pro 13” pro and 13” air.

Hey! I believe Apple reccommends not to put hardshells on your Macbooks because the hinges are designed to hold the perfect amount of weight and with the added weight of the hardshell, it can wear down the hinge faster than normal. This makes your hinge SUPER loose and its always annoying. They might have done something new with the 2021 models to accommodate for this though.

ahhh it’s so cute!! i’m glad you had a lovely christmas 🤍 also! love pls don’t use the keypad cover or the screen protector, it’s not recommended by apple either since neither of them are good for your display/screen (theyre not rly useful either and only interfere with the macbooks “natural stance” bc of the added layer of thickness) and the airflow of the macbook (since macbooks have some sort of air ventilation in the keyboard itself) ofc you’re free to do what you want but i just wanted to warn you in advance since it might mess with your laptop later and repairs are quite pricey

I would advise you to remove the screen protector the second you see this comment. Because my mom recently removed one off of hers and it took the screen with it. Later we found out that it's been happening atot

Keyboard and screen protectors for laptops especially macbooks are scams. Better not to use them. I tried using them before and they are really bad. There is no need. You are not touching the screen like a phone. I use a painting brush to clean any dirt between the keys and inside the ports. A dry cloth will suffice to wipe dirt from the screen. If there is any mark, dipping the cloth in simple soap water, squeezing until the last drop and giving single wipes followed by wiping with another dry cloth will do the job.

jus so u know these cases, screen protectors and keyboard protectors do more harm than good, the keyboard protector can ruin the retina display same with the screen protector. No need. And case if dirt gets inbetween it witch it will it can scuff the aluminum body of the macbook pro. Do some research. I jus returned a soft tomtoc case for mbp cuz it leaves marks on the body of the shell.

I also like rainy days. It is interesting, why does it need a screen protector? It isn't a touch screen, and even if you accidentally drop it, it is very unlikely the screen down. Anyway, if you feel safer, then it is worth it.

literraly no diff imo. if money is not a concern for you get 14in. 100% worth it, Altho 13in m1 is all most people needed.

Umm between those two just get the 14” you’ll get a much better performance with that, of course if you don’t mind spending a lot of money. But if money is a problem just get the MacBook Air instead of the 13” pro, it’s literally the same chip just different models, you’ll get a cooling system with the pro that’s the only difference

@@heberarguello4077 No they're not the same chip. the MacBook Pro 13 has either the M2 or M1 in it, while the MacBook Pro 14 has either the M2 Pro or M1 Pro. The Pro chips are significantly and noticeably better than the base chips.

yes you would have to create an apple id !! if you have an iphone then you should probably already have an account, but if you don't , you can make one once you start up your macbook. it's really easy you just need an email and create a password :))
