Would you advise this for a data scientist? Compared to other Windows PC of the same price

Use OCLP to update to Sonoma.

You can do this (I did) but keep in mind that some bluetooth (if not all except AirPods) won’t work and performance did take a hit.

@@christoffermyrdal My bluetooth wireless ear pods work. I don't use Airpods. As for performance both my 13.3 and 15.6 2015 units run OCLP Sonoma and work better then they did on Monterey. Your personal experience may not reflect others.

@@christoffermyrdal the bluteooth on my macbook is also working and performance is not affected. the only issue is that the keyboard tends to get warm and the fan would kick from time to time espeically when i am watching youtube vids.

That’s true, you may get different results on the bluetooth connectivity based on what model you are installing on and what version, I should have made that more clear.

How many hours should it last after a full charge?
@christoffermyrdal24 күн бұрын
That will depend alot on what capacity the battery has, if it says "Normal" then I think between 2-6 hours is good depending on the tasks you do.

Could be that it does not support MacOS Sonoma, so the newest Final Cut and other programs are not supported. Newest versions atleast.
