How do you know what the correct readings in ohms should be for the inductors he tested? And how do you know which inductors need testing. And again how do you know which inductors to test with oscilloscope

i have a question please, how do you know the resistance of each power rail? are they on the schematics? or if they are not equal to 0 then it means its good? and is it applicable for non apple laptops? thank you for replying
@f1lab5356 жыл бұрын
And also how do you know that voltage on inputs or outputs of an IC/Transistor or any component is normal or abnormal? Thank you very much
@DarkPhysicist6 жыл бұрын
All these parameters are in the additional tables in the schematic diagram.

These videos make me angry, not because businesses such as REWA carry out these repairs or come up with ways to repair things, but because companies like Apple choose not to offer the same service. Instead, they close the device up and hand it back to the customer and tell them it is not repairable, when in actual fact, it is, in the hope that they might instead opt to buy a new device. This is behaviour is nothing short of criminal and they should be ashamed of themselves. Good on you guys for offering a repair service and helping to educate others to help stop the unnecessary disposal of something that can be repaired and preventing the loss of a perfectly repairable device to landfill.

That's why you have laptop technician to provide you a best service. It's not only with Apple all other brands also having the same principles. Their policy is always to replace not repair this for 2 things one is for profit the other one is prestige. When you feel it's unfair you can take it to a repair shop just in case to see whether it can be repaired with less cost.😊

I am following this tutorial however I have a rather silly problem, I cannot measure the inductor. I have my multimeter in diode mode, and whatever I do the screen shows .OL . Can you tell me which points exactly you measuring with your black and red probs?

What if on a A1706 20.4 volts and around .40-.80 amps with battery unplugged, then 20.4 volts and around 1.20- 1.80 amps when battery plugged in. No fan and only CPU and main R7 inductor gets warm. I get track pad click, but nothing more.

From the start u plugged the charger from to the left side but when u finished u plug the charger to the right side .can u explain. Because is confusing

Actually. Simply just because there is charger port at both side. And it's more convenient to plug to the right side when finished. LOL

Wrong terms used like saying XX ohms to ground when using Diode mode (which is still a uncorrect) In the previous video they were talking about a bad capacitor but it was a blown resistor which they fixed in this video.
